The Macallan Master of Entrepreneurship Khethi Ngwenya has a favourite from The Macallan range: the Rare Cask. Being a “classic” guy, he likes it on the rocks.

It is an exquisite rich ruby-red whisky, which celebrates two of The Macallan’s greatest strengths: beautiful sherry seasoned oak casks and natural colour, so we can understand why Ngwenya likes it.

The Macallan Rare Cask is crafted only from hand-picked, Spanish oak sherry seasoned casks.

The palate is rich with spices. As the oak takes control, vanilla and chocolate complement each other in the background, ending with a light citrus zest. The result is a full and warming finish.
